Monthly Wine Dinner at 39 Rue de Jean

One-night-only, five-course chef and sommelier attended experience on July 16th. 

39 Rue de Jean will continue its 25th anniversary celebration with an intimate, elevated wine dinner on Thursday July 16th, hosted in the restaurant’s wine bar.

Designed as a singular experience, the evening will feature a five-course prix fixe menu, thoughtfully paired with wines selected to complement each course. Both the chef and sommelier will be in attendance, guiding guests through the menu and pairings with insight, storytelling, and a shared appreciation for the craft behind every plate and pour.

The dinner will be offered as one seating only at 6:30 p.m., creating a convivial, celebratory atmosphere for longtime fans and first-time guests alike.

“These wine dinners sets the tone for an entire year of celebration,” said a restaurant representative. “It’s a way to honor the guests, the team, and the memories that have made Rue de Jean a Charleston institution for 25 years — and to raise a glass to what’s still to come.”

Monthly wine dinners are included in a series of special events planned throughout 2026 to celebrate the restaurant’s milestone anniversary.
