Join ACBA for the Fifth Annual RED Party Fundraiser!

Drawing inspiration from the 1920s, the Old Charleston Jail will become the set of The Great Gatsby, transforming this historic landmark building into the Gatsby mansion with overflowing champagne, swinging jazz, revelers dressed in their best ‘20s outfits and more to set the stage for our annual celebration of traditional artisans.

EMBRACE THE EXTRAVAGENCE OF THE ROARING 1920’s and be a part of this worthwhile fundraiser. This is a costume party so, whether you wear your finest vintage cocktail attire, create the greatest fantastical get up seen in Charleston or sport the utmost dashing attire in red, dress to impress and be prepared for a red hot night not to be forgotten!

Get into the spirit of the Red Party. During the coming months leading up to the "Gatsby" Red Party, ACBA will be hosting pop-up events throughout Charleston and on Facebook.

- Live Entertainment by The V-Tones along with Charleston dance lessons by the Roaring 20’s Hot Jazz Dancers on the main dance floor and Zandrina Dunning in the speakeasy

- Dance Music by DJ C.Nile. Download this free Gatsby themed music mix to get you swinging!

- Silent Auction with over 70 lush lots. Electronic text bidding via BidPal using your smart phone.

- Live auction hosted by television meteorologist and charity auctioneer extraordinaire Tom Crawford. Credit card needed to register.

- Tempting Specialty Cocktails that will bring tears to your eyes developed by Charleston’s finest mixologists.

- Spectacular food prepared by some of Charleston's top establishments including: HoM Burger, Salthouse Catering, Butcher & Bee, Fuel, Healthy Home Foods, L.I.M.E. and Vanilla Bean Pastry Company.

TICKETS:
GENERAL ADMISSION: $70 Advance/ $90 Door
Doors swing open at 7:00 - includes two complimentary drink tickets and buffet.

VIP: $150
Doors open at 6:30 for VIP ticket holders - early entry to beat the crowds, preview our auction items, and have access to a private garden lounge with ouster bar, our “speakeasy”, specialty hors d'oeuvres and receive four complimentary drink tickets.

Online ticket sales close Wednesday, Oct 23 at midnight. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the event.

After Party at Republic Reign 11pm until. Free admission with Red Party ticket.

Red is the most emotionally powerful color and really catches people’s attention. It signifies intensity and energy that stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. Red adds sparkle to a party and perhaps even hints at a dash of danger.

Red encourages artistic skills and talents; hence, it is an inspiring color for creative individuals who represent the college’s students and all the people who attend the party.
