Now in its 16th season, The Sound of Charleston continues to be a Piccolo Spoleto favorite. The program highlights Charleston’s rich musical heritage, from gospel spirituals to the music of George Gershwin, light classics of the St. Cecelia Society, Civil War camp songs and jazz standards. Performers include Ann Caldwell, former Mayor John Tecklenburg, the Bright Family Singers, and a host of other Lowcountry legends.
