Cinco De Mayo Block Party at Mex 1 West Ashley

Mex 1 Coastal Cantina in West Ashley is throwing their annual Cinco De Mayo block party with live music from The Midnight City band on Sunday, May 5th! The party starts at 4 pm, and we're bringing the heat with live music starting at 5 pm featuring a DJ set from the Dubplates and headlined by the The Midnight City Band. We will have multiple outdoor bars, food tents, local vendors and live music so be ready for a fun night!
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Our last big event sold out at the door, and we anticipate selling out in advance for this event. You do not want to miss Chucktown's largest Cinco De Mayo bash! So buy your tickets now before we sell out.
The Midnight City is an Alternative Pop Indie band from right here in Charleston, South Carolina. They are also a full-time cover/party event band with over 10 years experience. Most recently they were voted Charleston's Best Local Band by Charleston City Paper readers.
Our local charity partner for the event is Warrior Surf Foundation who will be having a live auction night of the event. Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to provide free surf therapy, wellness coaching, yoga, and community to Veterans struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, transition issues, and other mental health issues. We believe that all Veterans deserve the right to live lives to their fullest potential.
