One of the most emblematic series of Piccolo Spoleto which has been going strong since 1986. This years’ series features the world renowned Chatham Baroque, the Spartina Consort, cellist Wade Davis, and performances of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons plus Mozart in the Afternoon.
The amazing acoustics of Old St Mary’s will bring this music to life.
Lively Spanish dances of the Baroque contrast with virtuosic Italian sonatas for violin by Giovanni Battista Fontana, Giovanni Pandolfi Meali, and the one and only Antonio Vivaldi! Chatham Baroque musicians Andrew Fouts, violin, Patricia Halverson, viola da gamba and Scott Pauley, theorbo and baroque guitar.
