Hampton Park Terrace Historic District is Charleston's only National Register of Historic Places listing which focuses on the architecture of the 1910s and 1920s.  On Saturday, March 4, from 2:00-5:00 PM, six to eight houses in this beautiful neighborhood will be open to the public for self-paced tours. Docents will be stationed at the houses to give insight into the history and architectural features of each home, as well as to highlight features of interior design.  This tour, sponsored by the Hampton Park Terrace Neighborhood Association, will be held rain or shine.  Limited tickets are available.  On the day of the tour, tickets will be scanned at Allan Park between the hours of 1:30-3:30 PM, and guests will be given the tour brochure which will serve as entry to each of the houses.  No children under age 10, please.
