Somm School 2.0: Cru Beaujolais

On Sunday, October 30, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Edmund’s Oast Exchange will host a Somm School 2.0 class focused on a deep dive into Cru Beaujolais led by Certified Sommelier Sarah O’Kelley. This is the next level of the Exchange's Somm School series! The class will lead participants through this truly amazing region that is often misunderstood because of Beaujolais Nouveau! Yes, there is some great Nouveau, but there are also ageworthy, elegant wines from the communes (aka crus) of the region. We will explore each cru and taste wines from 4 different crus. We will also learn about the history, geology, and climate of the region.
