Join us at 39 Rue de Jean on Thursday, March 1, 2018 for an exclusive culinary experience with Saintsbury Wines. Chef Justin Rambo-Garwood and Charleston City Paper's Best Sommelier, Andres Contreras, have curated a wonderful menu with select Saintsbury wine pairings. Philippa Ward will be our evening's guest. Philippa is the daughter of Richard Ward, co-founder and owner of Saintsbury Winery. Tickets are available for $150 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity. Space is limited.

First Course

Yellowtail Crudo

green apple, celery & parsley salad, lemon EVOO

Wine pairing: Saintsbury Carneros Chardonnay

 

Second Course

Seared Tuna

blistered raspberry, arugula

Wine pairing: Saintsbury Carneros Vincent Vin Gris

 

Third Course

Roasted Duck Breast

turnip, spinach, cranberry-prune purée

Wine pairing: Saintsbury Carneros Pinot Noir

 

Fourth Course

Pork Trio

crispy ear & frisée salad, roasted tenderloin with sauce Robert, trotter croquette with sauce gribiche

Wine pairing: Saintsbury Pratt Vineyard Pinot Noir

 

Fifth Course

Hazelnut Fried Camembert

pomegranate molasses, basil

Wine pairing: Saintsbury Sundawg Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir
