Shrimp on the Barbie Shrimp Throwdown

On Saturday, October 1st watch your favorite Lowcountry chefs battle it out in a live cooking competition on the beach at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina.  Our panel of chefs and culinary gurus will decide which restaurant will represent the low country as a WFC Preferred Qualifier in the World Food Championships, ‪Seafood Competition this November in Gulf Shores, Al.  The teams will be ranked on appearance, taste and execution by a team of judges for their chance to compete in the World Food Championship 2016.   
 

The winning team receives the Golden Ticket for entry into the World Food Championship, $1000 given to you at the WFC in Alabama for expenses and $500 from the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina.  

General Admission:   $10 for Adults, $5 for Children ages 5-12
Food & Beverage tickets are $1 each
Shrimp Tasting will require 2 tickets
Local beers, spirits, soft drinks and water will be available at concessions.
