Uke Hunt w/ Noodle McDoodle

The Tin Roof is so pleased to present Uke Hunt for an exclusive East Coast appearance. Led by ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES' frontman Spike Slawson and his ukulele, UKE HUNT explores similar territory as MF&TGGS in that they offer up twisted yet sublime takes on outsider pop tunes, country standards and 80's new wave hits, but UKE HUNT uses instrumentation including keyboards, percussion and even a saw! Uke-Hunt are: Spike Slawson (Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, Swingin' Utters) on ukulele and vocals, Jamin Barton (Kelley Stoltz, The Titan Ups, Ramshackle Romeos, Bone Cootes and the Living Wrecks) on saxophone, melodica, harmonica and various other hanky instruments, Atom Ellis (Psychefunkapus) bass and backing vocals. If you catch Uke-Hunt on tour then you will catch New Jersey's own, Rob Affa, on drums.  This San Francisco quartet, recording for the legendary Fat Wreck Chords label has been delighting audiences of all ages and musical tastes for over a half a decade, and this is the band's only East Coast appearance on October 2nd.
