Sirius.B brings to you the finest Absurdist Gypsy Folk Funk Punk that the world has to offer. Their "impressively irreverent, combustible, three-ring circus of sound [and] high-energy style is difficult to neatly categorize. They play foreign music as well as upbeat and serious originals, with a lyrical style ranging from the quirky to the absurd."
-Mountain Xpress

The Scenic Routes is a brand new band from Asheville, NC. Featured performers are Franklin Keel, cello/vocals and Ryan Kijanka, upright bass.

The Gypsy Swingers (thegypsyswingers@gmail.com) is an up tempo jazz quintet playing in a style reminiscent of the European swing jazz scene started by Django Reinhardt in the '30s featuring diverse vocal styles in an acoustic format. Lady Q sings everything from Latin standards to New Orleans blues and plays the kazoo and light percussion. Mario Piccolo plays a Selmer style guitar working off the rhythms created by Magic Sean (guitar) and Craig Sandberg on bass. Drayton Aldridge weaves in striking violin melodies.

Since its formation in 2010 the band has moved from Chattanooga, Tn to Asheville to explore the rich musical fabric in place here. They play regularly at places such as 5 Walnut Wine bar and Cork and Keg, as well as playing house parties and weddings. Appreciated by young and old, dancers or just sitters, Gypsy Swingers music is just fun! Don't miss them. Find us on facebook for more info.

Camp David is the brain-child of Nottingham born front man, Steven Brett. Indie by nature with nuances of folk, the music focuses on a singer/songwriter core with elaborately layered scores and often haunting lyrics. The lineup consists of anywhere from 4-7 local musicians each providing their own unique sound that help give the band its distinctive and incomparable quality. Instruments can include classics like electric guitar, base, drums and keys, but then bring in sounds from lap steel guitar, electric cello, saxophone, and more. Camp David recently released their first single, "The Poison" which can be found on campdavidband.com and are currently working on their debut LP.
