This event has passed.

Charleston Literary Festival and Yeamans Hall club present famed golf superagent, Hughes Norton, in conversation with club member George Peper, editor of Links Magazine, former editor-in-chief of Golf Magazine, and bestselling author of 19 books. The two will be in conversation about their new book Rainmaker—an engaging and unforgettable memoir that explores golf as never before.

Listen as Norton draws back the curtain on his meteoric rise and fall in the world of golf. With never-before-told stories and exclusive insights, he discusses what it was like being Tiger Woods’ first agent, his time representing Greg Norman, and shining a light on his sudden—and controversial—ouster as the head of IMG’s Golf Division—a juggernaut he helped build.

Drive the conversation! You, the audience, will be invited to ask your questions of Hughes Norton and George Peper, so come curious. This interactive conversation-based format is indicative of a Charleston Literary Festival event—brought straight into Yeamans Clubhouse Living Room. Support and attendance at the event helps to support Charleston Literary Festival’s mission to promote the transformative power of literature through thoughtful discussion.
