Oysters on the Point with April B & the Cool Funk from Asheville, NC

This once-a-month winter series features locally steamed oysters and a wide selection of other creative dishes, as well as live music, a Bloody Mary bar, plenty of beer choices, and a variety of local art vendors.

Oysters on the Point kicks off in November with steamed blue crabs and the December roast is on the same day as the Charleston Parade of Boats, which can be seen from our beach.

It is hosted on Saturday afternoons through March from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Expressive vocals and impressive guitar work are just part of what makes April B. & the Cool special. Drawing style and inspiration from Hip-Hop, Soul, R&B, Funk, Rock, Jazz and Reggae music, April B. puts it all together in sultry and alluring fashion. The Cool features members of several hard hitting bands including JP Miller, guitarist for Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band and occasional sit ins from a wide array of nationally touring artists. April B. & The Cool will keep the crowd moving from the first note to the last.
