Somm School: Week 1

Edmund’s Oast Exchange and Certified Sommelier Sarah O’Kelley will offer a series of Saturday Somm Schools starting Saturday, October 14 perfect for those who are contemplating taking an entry level wine certification. Offered weekly from 11:00 a.m. to noon, the twelve-week classes will serve as a preparation for any entry level wine certification or to simply enhance any wine lover’s aptitude. Attendees can pay for each class individually and classes are $20 per person. Food and beverage industry employees can attend for $10 per person.
The first class will explore grape growing and winemaking, and subsequent classes will focus on wine regions of the world. Tastings will be part of each class and blind evaluation will be taught in detail.
