BevCon Excursion: Foraging with The Lee Bros. and Bethany Kocak

In this two-part learning session, urban foraging experts and cookbook authors Matt Lee and Ted Lee will combine forces and talents with former McCrady’s head mixologist Bethany Kocak.
Attendees will meet at a downtown park for samples of Matt and Ted’s infusions made with flora and fruit foraged from centuries-old residential neighborhoods. We’ll then head out to locate some of the edible plants growing wild in the city; our tour concludes at McCrady’s Tavern, where we’ll meet Bethany.
Bethany will demonstrate how to turn foraged infusions into incredible cocktails, and join the Lees for a discussion of keying your cocktail program to your hometown’s terroir.
