After School Teen Survival Skills Course
A 5 week course teaching teens (13-18) primitive / useful skills

Thu, Jan 14, 2016 at 6:30pm

This event has passed.

Has your teen seen Man vs. Wild, Survivorman, Naked and Afraid, Dual Survivor and expressed an interest in wanting to learn the skills used on those shows in order to survive?

Would you like them to be more resourceful and problem solve before asking for help?

We are offering a 5 week course, 4 classes and one final test day, to teens (13-18) after school on Thursday starting Jan. 14 - Feb. 11. Each class is from 6:30pm - 9:00pm allowing for transportation and food prior to class.

Our purpose is to teach youth to be creative and problem solve through situations in addition to promoting persistence (bow drill fire starting) and solid life skills.

***This course will be closely supervised, but we will be handling knives and starting fires. We we will instruct knife safety at the beginning of every class. You know your child's ability. We want to stretch them, but want them and other students safe.
